Where possible we recommend travelling to IET London: Savoy Place via public transport. Detailed travel information can be found on the venue website. If travelling via coach or minibus please notify the events team via engfest@theiet.org.

What are the opening times for Fast Forward at EngFest 2.0?

Registration is at 09:15 with the Festival starting at 09:50. The event is scheduled to finish at 16:35.

What time will the “Showoff Engineers” start?

A cash bar will open at 16:35 and the Showoff Engineers will start at 17:00. Please note that attendance at this event is restricted to 18 years and over.

What do I do when I arrive at EngFest 2.0?

Report to the registration desk in the venue lobby where you will be met by member of the team.

Is lunch provided?

A complimentary lunch will be provided for all Fast Forward delegates.

Is there anywhere to leave bags/coats?

Visitors are encouraged to carry as little as possible around the event with them. There will be a manned cloakroom facility onsite where visitors can store bags, coats and luggage if required.

What are the opening times for EngVentures at EngFest 2.0?

Registration is at 10:00 with the Festival starting at 10:30. The event is scheduled to finish at 15:30.

What do I do when I arrive at EngFest 2.0?

Report to the registration desk in the venue lobby where you will be met by your allocated team member who will guide your group around the Festival.

Can my school attend EngFest 2.0?

EngFest 2.0 is sold out. You can register your interest for EngFest 3.0 by emailing engfest@theiet.org.

Do I need to book additionally for any workshops or presentations?

Your school group will be allocated a schedule for the day including a mixture of workshops and presentations. You do not need to book onto these activities.

If your group has attended any of the advertised workshops before please let us know and we will try to ensure you are allocated to a different workshop.

Is lunch provided?

Students and accompanying staff should bring a packed lunch. Water will be available throughout the day.

Is there anywhere to leave schoolbags/coats?

You will need to keep your bags with you at all times; visitors are encouraged to carry as little as possible around the event with them. Coat rails will be available.
